Bio
Hello hello, my name is Coral and this is my art journal.

I generally post sketches and sometimes finished drawings as well, usually of personal characters or random things. Nothing too interesting, but very rarely fan art - so don't expect to see a whole lot of that (unless it's drawn for someone else specifically). I'm aspiring to improve, and that's about it. At the moment I have no real goals for my artwork other than that. But I wouldn't mind eventually making a graphic novel (they're one of my little addictions).

I've been drawing since I was young, but more "seriously" over the last nine years. And by "serious" I mean I stopped tracing or copying images. Best decision I ever made (not something I'd like written on my gravestone, though). I joke, but I'm a serious advocate for the idea of "keep practicing!" :) Everyone has to start somewhere, and as they say - the best way to learn to walk is to use your own two feet (though come to think of it I might have just made that up).

I have taken a few classes in the subject (Drawing I, II, and Life Drawing twice), but only for fun and improvement, and not with the serious goal of becoming professional (who knows what the future holds, though). I don't take requests and I'm not a big fan of art trades, so I'd rather avoid those for now. I do, however, offer commission work, because let's face it - I'm poor. I've been doing commission work for seven years now and am well versed in it, though, if you'd like to contact me for more information on the matter!

My prices generally run low for sketches starting at $7 US for a simple character up to $20 US for more complex, jumping up to $35 US or more for colored images. Of course, there are a lot of variables to consider so don't expect those to be exact! I'm more than willing to give price estimates though. I might make a page on that later if anyone is really interested. If you are (for some odd reason), shoot me a note in a comment or through e-mail and I'd be happy to discuss it!

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy my little art journal! And I'll apologize ahead of time for any retinal acid burns caused in the aftermath (but I hold no responsibility for that so... please don't sue).

Thanks!
